EviSafe was founded by Naomi Hija, a survivor of sexual violence, an experienced healthcare professional, and an entrepreneur dedicated to creating meaningful social impact.
FounderNaomi’s story
Throughout her career, Naomi worked in the healthcare sector, providing direct care while leading multidisciplinary teams. She also successfully built and managed a dessert company serving restaurants across the Netherlands before launching her own consultancy, helping entrepreneurs and organizations turn innovative ideas into reality.
Her professional expertise, combined with her personal experiences, ultimately led to the creation of EviSafe.

Having witnessed firsthand how domestic violence, sexual violence, stalking, and coercive control are too often misunderstood, overlooked, or addressed too late, Naomi set out to build a platform that empowers individuals, strengthens collaboration between organizations, and enables earlier intervention.
The team
Today, Naomi is supported by a multidisciplinary team that has chosen to remain anonymous for privacy and safety reasons. Together, they bring expertise in healthcare, technology, cybersecurity, public safety, product development, and municipal collaboration. Several team members also have lived experience with domestic violence or related forms of abuse, providing valuable insight into the real-world challenges faced by victims and professionals alike.
